2024 BetVictor World Cup of Darts to Expand to Four-Day Format

Inaugural Event to Feature 40 Participating Nations

The World Darts Federation (WDF) today announced that the 2024 BetVictor World Cup of Darts will be staged at Frankfurt's Eissporthalle from June 27-30, marking the first time the tournament will be held over four days.

The expansion of the event to four days will allow for an increase in participating nations, with 40 countries set to compete in the 2024 tournament. The previous record was 32 nations, which participated in the 2022 BetVictor World Cup of Darts.

The 2024 BetVictor World Cup of Darts will feature a new format, with the tournament being played in a single-elimination knockout format. The top 16 teams from the 2023 World Cup will automatically qualify for the 2024 event, with the remaining 24 teams qualifying through regional tournaments.
